Acting Coach

As an acting coach and educator,  Jay has taught, trained and directed students from beginner to experienced level.

He has taught graduates of Identity School of Acting and Sydney Film School, worked as an acting coach for Australian theatrical agencies Matrics Management and Sydney Talent Company and organising workshops and classes at Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, the  SAG-AFTRA Foundation in Los Angeles,  the Cockpit Theatre in London and masterclasses led by industry profiles such as casting director Mike Fenton, cinematographer Andrew Lesnie, and award winning film producer and movie director Richard Donner

​In 2015, I co-developed and taught with Irish casting director, Gillian Reynolds, the 'Get into Acting for Newcomers' course, for the Dublin Central School of Acting. Over the years, it has become one of the institute's popular choices, advancing many of its students to professional experiences in film and television.
